    It sickens me that Before Midnight isn’t considered a shoo-in for Best Adapted Screenplay. Is there no end to the disrespect being given to that film by myriad awards groups?

    KMS: Not giving a film an award isn’t necessarily a sign of disrespect. It’s a sign that some other film got more votes. It actually “sickens” you that a majority of awards voters this season have put 12 YEARS A SLAVE at the top of their ballots? It’s not like they went with GROWN UPS 2.

    Also, since when is an Academy Award nomination a sign of disrespect?
