  1. Ryan says:

What is not seen besides Lone Survivor?

  2. movielocke says:

I’m extremely disappointed the petty pundits of predictions are moral high-horse conspiring against Blue is the Warmest Color, the repression they’re lobbying for seems very odorous. I really hope the PPP gets a face fucking slap shock along the lines of City of God (the Academy obviously didn’t like that one either!)

  3. Chris says:

Ryan, I think he’s referring to “American Hustle” and “Wolf of Wall Street.”

  4. KMS says:

If only Oprah had had made an appearance in Before Midnight.

  5. KMS says:

Also, whatever happened to Devil’s Knot?

  6. Sam says:

movielocke, predicting is not the same as lobbying. I notice you didn’t put Blue in your own list of predictions. That must mean you also have an agenda against the film?

  7. Jerry says:

If Blue had been trimmed in length after Cannes then it would have a chance at a nomination. The current length makes it good but pretentious.

  8. Daniella Isaacs says:

Movielock: Maybe some of these pundits have seen BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOR at an official Academy screening. A good friend in the Academy told me a large percentage of the audience ended up laughing at the sex scene when he saw it there–apparently that it went on so long. I haven’t seen the film, so I have no opinion on it (personally it seems like a juvenile, philistine response that makes me doubt the taste of the Academy) but if that’s the case, then BLUE is not likely to pick up nominations. Don’t kill the messenger for the message, huh?

  9. Logan says:

August: Osage County. And scratch Her.
