Promo Item Of The Day: Never Let Me Go Naked

If you’ve seen the film, the postmark is ominous and comic: “National Donor Programme.”

But open the organ-sized container, and there’s no rival to Let Me In‘s notorious funnel, but instead a t-shirt with one of the restrained bits of background design from Never Let Me Go, a lovely simulacrum of 1960s-70s British graphic art as done by the likes of Pentagram founder Alan Fletcher. (Although that sneaky lower-case “b” is a little itchy…)

“Would I like to see Wormwood in a theater on a big screen? You betcha. I’d be disingenuous to argue otherwise. But we’re all part of, like it or not, an industry, and what Netflix offers is an opportunity to do different kinds of films in different ways. Maybe part of what is being sacrificed is that they no longer go into theaters. If the choice is between not doing it at all and having it not go to theaters, it’s an easy choice to make.”
