    Why is that interesting? Has anyone actually ever used Rotten Tomatoes as a barometer for the Oscar race?
    In my mind, critics’ top ten lists are a pretty significant factor in the race, for both the studios budgeting their candidates and the Academy eyeing what films should be considered.

    It’s kind of tough to get a bead on some of these earlier films. For instance, out of Africa only has 19 reviews on rotten tomatoes. Kramer vs. Kramer is 100% fresh, but off of only 20 reviews.

    I was going to say the exact same thing as Paul. Especially when you take into consideration that now movies can have 100+ reviews. Even arthouse ones.
