The New Cinea Is Here! The New Cinea Is Here!

My SV300 Secure DVD Player arrived today, as I suspect it arrived for all BFCA members. Academy members got their’s last year.
Cinea has told some folks that at least 3 studios have signed up for their program already, though according to the trades, none of the deals are official yet.
I was kind of hoping that it would be a region free player, but no such luck. I’m also a little unhappy that there is not DVD burner attached. (Hee Hee!)

    I’ll bet $10 that someone will leak Oscar DVD screeners again this year because there’s no such thing as a “secure DVD player.”
    But who will be kicked out of what organization for allowing it to happen? That’s the question.

“The thought is interrupted by an odd interlude. We are speaking in the side room of Casita, a swish and fairly busy Italian bistro in Aoyama – a district of Tokyo usually so replete with celebrities that they spark minimal fuss.
